Woodlea Primary Musical Theatre – YR – 2

Age: Year R, 1 & 2

Date: Every Tuesday from 13th January – 17th March 2026 (not including Feb half term)

Location: Woodlea School Hall

Each week the students will participate in a dance warm up and stretch to different songs to widen their knowledge of musical theatre. We then warm up our singing voices, and play some drama games. The main activity for our lessons is to combine our skills, learn routines, songs and scenes from the group’s favourite musicals. The children will be working towards performing in front of their classmates and teachers at the end of term.

All of our teachers are fully DBS checked, with extensive qualifications and experience in Musical theatre.

Children will go from class at the end of school directly to their Boogie Pumps class, please ensure they have a snack (no nuts).
